Editor’s Foreword

This issue of the Journal presents us with a variety of themes stemming from different areas of study and techniques for research into the consciousness.
The article by Alexandre Nonato introduces the results of his study, which employs invexometric instruments, analyzing a number of individuals who apply the technique of existential inversion – invaluable reading for researchers in general and for all existential inverters.
Julio Almeida addresses the thosene that manifests as an instant reaction to a given situation as opposed to thosenes that result from a rationalized or reflected attitude of the consciousness either during or following a given situation. Almeida calls this the ‘immediate thosene’ and his article presents a series of developments on this topic.

The research field known as Transcommunication, which uses the occurrence of anomalous voices and images recorded via technological equipment as a method of researching, identifying and communicating with extraphysical consciousnesses, is presented in depth by Anabela Cardoso in her comprehensive paper on this subject.
The life and work of Confucius is examined in the article by Kevin and Simone de la Tour. The authors describe their interest in China from a parahistorical viewpoint and report their experience of introducing conscientiology to the Chinese world.

A testimony of a parapsychic experience, submitted by Veronica Roach, details a type of joint clairvoyant and clairaudient experience that she had with her daughter. This can be found in the personal account section of this issue.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform readers of the Journal that from now on, some special editions of the JC will be dedicated exclusively to the publication of articles on specific themes, making these editions a forum for discussion on the topics they address.

The first edition of this kind will be Journal No 26, which will focus on the theme of “Intermission”. Intermission is the term that refers to the period between physical lives and is related to a broad range of subjects such as: life between lives (intermissive period per se), the purpose of the intermissive life, the intermissive course, characteristics of environments that form the basis of the intermissive life, types of activities performed by extraphysical consciousnesses during intermissive periods, and others.
So, we would like to invite members and readers of the JC to submit their manuscripts for this special edition of the journal. Manuscripts must follow the stylistic rule of the journal and must be submitted by the 30th of May, 2004. Early submissions are encouraged to facilitate the revision and selection process. Please feel free to contact me for any additional information you may require.

Invexometry: an Instrument for the Measurement of Invexibility of Oneself and Others

ABSTRACT:This article proposes a research project in the field of existential invertology, a subdiscipline of Conscientiology. The project comprises the examination of the common characteristics of no less than 40 intraphysical consciousnesses, each applying the technique of existential inversion, whose main methodological instrument is invexometry. The objective of the research will be to verify the authenticity of the hypotheses presented by the project in order to further develop of this subdiscipline.

SUMARIO: Este artículo propone un proyecto de pesquisa en el campo de la Invexología, subdisciplina de la concienciología, el cual consiste en la investigación de las características que tienen en común por lo menos 40 concíns que vivencian la inversión existencial, siendo la Invexometría su principal instrumento metodológico. El objetivo es verificar la autenticidad o no de las hipótesis presentadas en el proyecto para profundizar en esta subdisciplina.

RESUMO: O artigo propõe um projeto de pesquisa no campo da Invexologia, sub-especialidade da Consciencio-logia, que consiste na investigação das características em comum de pelo menos 40 conscins que vivenciam a inversão existencial, sendo a Invexometria o seu principal instrumento metodológico. O objetivo é verificar a autenticidade ou não das hipóteses apresentadas no projeto, visando o aprofundamento dessa sub-especialidade.

Alexandre Nonato, 25, has a degree in Journalism from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo. He researches existential invertology and is an instructor of conscientiology for the past 6 years. He also coordinates the publishing department of the CHSC in Iguassu Falls.

Immediate Thosene

ABSTRACT: The title of this article may elicit a response of immediate curiosity or indifference in the reader. Such a reaction, referred to here as ‘immediate thosene’, is precisely the subject of this article. The characteristics of this manifestation are presented here from a conscientiological standpoint. Several examples of ‘immediate thosene’ will also be cited to provide ample material for the consideration of all interested parties.

SUMARIO: Al leer por primera vez el título de este artículo, el lector podrá manifestar de inmediato, por ejemplo, curiosidad o indiferencia en cuanto al tema sugerido. Tal reacción, aquí denominada pensene inmediato, es exactamente el tema central de este trabajo. Son presentadas las características y diferentes ejemplos sobre esta manifestación, desde el punto de vista concienciológico, con el fin de discutir ampliamente con el público interesado.

RESUMO: ao ler pela primeira vez o título deste artigo, o leitor poderá manifestar imediatamente, por exemplo, curiosidade ou indiferença quanto ao assunto sugerido. Tal reação, aqui denominada pensene imediato, é exatamente o tema central deste trabalho. São apresentadas as características e diferentes exemplos sobre esta manifestação, sob o ponto de vista conscienciológico, a fim de discutir amplamente com o público interessado.

Survival Research

ABSTRACT: The author summarizes man’s quest from prehistoric times to the 20th century to discover what happens after death. It also discusses humanity’s first attempts to establish contact with the deceased through Instrumental Transcommunication (or ITC). For more than 50 years researchers have been consistently reporting the presence of anomalous voices and images on audio and video tape, television screens, telephones, fax machines, printers and other recording media. These phenomena are now collectively referred to as Instrumental Transcommunication. Building upon the pioneering work of Jürgenson, Raudive and of more modern investigators such as Meek, Senkowski, Bacci, Maggy and Jules Harsch-Fischbach, and König, an impressive body of carefully controlled results has been assembled indicating that the voices and images may originate in another reality. They may thus strongly support the idea of some form of survival after physical death. The paper summarizes some of the most important work that has been done in this field, and details the author’s own results obtained in her studio under controlled conditions.

SUMARIO: La autora hace referencia a la preocupación por las cuestiones relacionadas con la vida y la muerte, y el deseo de saber si algo sobrevive a la muerte física, de todo ello podemos encontrar vestigios desde la Pre-Historia hasta el siglo XX. Describe las tentativas de establecer contacto con otro nivel de existencia a través de instrumentos electrónicos llevadas a cabo a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo pasado. Desde hace más de 50 años los investigadores vienen relatando la presencia de voces e imágenes anómalas en cintas de audio y vídeo, televisores, teléfonos, fax y otros aparatos electrónicos. Estos fenómenos son conocidos como Transcomunicación Instrumental (TCI). Desde el trabajo pionero de Jürgenson, Raudive y demás modernos investigadores tales como Meek, Senkowski, Bacci, Maggy y Jules Harsch-Fischbach, König, entre otros, se ha reunido un conjunto impresionante de resultados cuidadosamente controlados, indicando que las voces y las imágenes pueden tener origen en otra realidad. El estudio resume algunas de las más importantes pesquisas realizadas en este campo y da detalles de los resultados obtenidos por la autora en su propio estudio bajo condiciones cuidadosamente controladas.

RESUMO: A autora refere a preocupação com as questões relacionadas com a vida e com a morte e o desejo de saber se algo sobrevive à morte física, dos quais podemos encontrar vestígios desde a Pré-História até ao século XX. Descreve as tentativas de estabelecer contacto com outro nível de existência através de instrumentos eletrônicos levadas a cabo a partir da segunda metade do século passado. Desde há mais de cinqüenta anos investigadores vêm relatando a existência de vozes e imagens anômalas em fitas áudio e vídeo, televisores, telefones, máquinas de fax e outros aparelhos eletrônicos. Esses fenômenos são conhecidos como Transcomunicação Instrumental (TCI). Desde o trabalho pioneiro de Jürgenson, Raudive e de mais modernos investigadores tais como Meek, Senkowski, Bacci, Maggy e Jules Harsch-Fischbach, König, entre outros, um conjunto impressionante de resultados cuidadosamente controlados foi reunido indicando que as vozes e imagens podem ter origem noutra realidade. O estudo resume algumas das mais importantes pesquisas realizadas neste campo e dá detalhes dos resultados obtidos pela autora no seu próprio estúdio em condições cuidadosamente controladas.

Anabela Maria Mourato Cardoso was born in Alentejo, Portugal. She graduated in Germanic Philology, from the Classical University of Lisbon, holds a diploma in Agriculture, from the Open University in Australia and is a doctor of Public Service (Honoris Causa) from the Roger Williams University, Bristol, USA.
Having been in the Portuguese diplomatic career core since 1976, Cardoso has held diplomatic posts in the USA, India, Japan, and Spain. Presently, she is the Portuguese Consul-General in Lyon, France.
Cardoso was the founder and president of ABRIGO (Association for the Protection of the Fauna and the Flora). This association was developed on land and premises donated by her as a shelter for abandoned animals.
A former member of the SPR, Cardoso’s long-standing interest in questions related to life and death led her to start experimenting with Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC) at the end of 1997. In 2000 she founded the ITC Journal of which she remains Editor-in-Chief.
An accomplished linguist, Cardoso is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. Her command of many European languages has allowed her to identify similarities, complementarities, and contradictions between the major research findings published across Europe and the USA. She says she claims to be surprised and disappointed at the lack of knowledge shown by the majority of European and American researchers regarding the research findings published in other languages, and considers this a major handicap in the development of the subject.
Currently Cardoso is organizing the First International Conference on Survival of Physical Death with Special Reference to ITC to be held in Vigo, Spain, from the 23rd to the 25th April 2004. Samples of Cardoso’s ITC results can be found at http://pagina.de/riodotempo.

The Life and Work of Confucius, from a Conscientiological Perspective

ABSTRACT: This article examines the life and work of the Chinese thinker Confucius, as seen through the prism of conscientiology. It first presents the raison d’être for the authors’ current research on China within the subdiscipline of conscientiology termed para-history. Some highlights of the clarification task already performed in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) – The First and Second Scientific Educational Excursion on Conscientiology in China – are also related. A description of the sociopolitical and educational context of Confucius’ time is provided, after which some points of his life and work are analyzed, including an evaluation of some of the facets of his personality. The end result of his existential program is then examined. Finally observations on recent archeological discoveries in the field of Chinese philosophy are presented.

SUMARIO: Este artículo examina la vida y obra del pensador chino Confucio, bajo el prisma de la concienciología. Primero, presenta la razón de ser de la pesquisa en curso de los autores sobre China, dentro de la subdisciplina de la concienciología denominada para-historia. También se hacen aclaraciones sobre la tarea de esclarecimiento llevada a cabo en la República Popular China (RPC) ? Primera y Segunda Excursión Educacional Científica en Concienciología realizada en China. Además, se presenta una descripción del contexto sociopolítico y educacional en la época de Confucio, después de analizarse algunos puntos de su vida y obra, incluyendo una evaluación de algunos aspectos de su personalidad; y se examina el resultado final de su programación existencial. Por último, se presentan observaciones pertinentes sobre los recientes descubrimientos arqueológicos en el campo de la filosofía China.

RESUMO: Este artigo examina a vida e obra do pensador chinês Confúcio, sob o prisma da conscienciologia. Apresenta primeiro a raison d’être da pesquisa em curso dos autores sobre a China, dentro da subdisciplina da conscienciologia denominada para-historia. São também feitos alguns destaques sobre a tarefa de esclarecimento já levada a efeito na Republica Popular da China (RPC) – Primeira e Segunda Excursão Educacional Científica em Conscienciologia feita na China. É também apresentada uma descrição do contexto sócio-político e educacional na época de Confúcio, após o que são analisados alguns pontos da sua vida e obra, incluindo-se aí uma avaliação de alguns aspectos de sua personalidade. O resultado final de sua programação existencial é então examinado. Por último, apresentam-se observações pertinentes sobre descobertas arqueológicas recentes no campo da filosofia Chinesa.

They have been participating as volunteer translators and researchers in the conscientiological sub-discipline of para-history at the Center for Higher Studies of Conscientiology (CHSC) since November of 2002. Kevin and Simone are the translators of the treatise Projectiology: A Panorama of Experiences of the Consciousness Outside the Human Body by Waldo Vieira, M.D.

Parapsiquismo: una Experiencia Compartida

En Febrero de 1999 viaje con mi hija de Miami a Valencia, Venezuela a realizar la operación de ojos lasik. Ambas teníamos miopía y astigmatismo y nuestro mayor deseo era, dejar de usar lentes de contactos que por muchos años veníamos usando. Hicimos todos los exámenes exigidos para este procedimiento obteniendo los resultados requeridos.

Días antes de la operación, estando en la misma habitación que mi hija, Maria Jose, yo me dormí temprano para estar más descansada. Durante la noche desperté y mirando hacia la puerta de la habitación vi dos conciencias extrafisicas, una más grande que la otra, viendo un montón de energía que estaba alrededor de ellos. Era extremamente clara la visión y se veía las energías de modo muy intenso. Mi reacción fue inmediatamente de taparme los ojos – fue una reacción instintiva. Luego, pensé, todavía sin mirar a las conciencias extrafísicas: “Verónica si están aquí es por algún motivo, queda tranquila”.
Sin embargo, cuando volví a mirar no había nada. Mi sorpresa y miedo rompieron el estado predispuesto a la comunicación con ellos en la cual yo me encontraba anteriormente. Permanecí despierta, demasiado despierta diría, pensando qué podría haber sido y lamentando como había desperdiciado esa oportunidad de tener contacto extrafisico por mi “miedo”.

Después de unos minutos, Maria José, que estaba durmiendo en la misma habitación en la cama de al lado, se empezó a mover y cuando me vio con los ojos abiertos me dice: “¡Que haces despierta!!! Dame un espacio en tu cama”. Se pasó a mi cama y me dice: “no sabes lo que me pasó. Escuchaba una voz…” Tuve que decirle calma “a mi también me pasó algo, pero cuéntame”.
Maria José, me dijo “estaba tratando de dormirme, de repente me interrumpió una voz empezó ha hablarme era voz de hombre y me dijo que tenía un mensaje para mi madre, pero que ella no quería escuchar”. Ella siguió contándome que le pedió entonces que dijera a ella cual era el mensaje, y la conciencia extrafísica le contestó que “la operación está bien para su madre, pero para usted no”. Maria José le preguntó: “¿porque no? Se que es con laser y la conciencia extrafísica le contestó “un derrame”.
Maria Jose, me contó que en ese momento no entendía como una voz dentro de ella le podía hablar y ella preguntarle, como en un diálogo. Su sensación era de saber más, entender y preguntar más, sintió como si todo hubiera parado.

Obviamente mi hija no operó, yo hice mi cirugía sin ningún temor y mi resultado fue una visión 20/20.
En esta experiencia estuvo presente dos tipos de fenómenos parapsíquicos: la clarividencia y la clariaudencia. Asimismo, se puede ver que el miedo es un factor determinante que bloquea nuestras experiencias y la mayoría de las veces no permite el desarrollo de nuestras habilidades parapsíquicas.
Pienso que aún no se comprende totalmente el significado de la Autoconcientización Multidimensional, ya que siempre estamos interactuando con la dimensión extrafísica. En este caso específico, para mi experiencia personal, yo me he dado cuenta una vez más que la mega-tarea de las conciencias extrafísicas lúcidas y evolucionadas es la asistencialidad.
