IAC’s Training Method
The scientific basis for conscientiological
research and study is the consciential paradigm, an advanced perspective
on human existence that places essential value on personal experience
or experiential verification of ideas. All research and educational
activities performed at the IAC are based on this fundamental principle.
The consciential paradigm goes beyond the
investigation of matter and energy, inserting consciousness in the
scientific scenario. Under the consciential paradigm, consciousness
is considered to be another principle in the Universe, not just
a byproduct of the functioning of the human brain (biological matter-energy).
Considering consciousness cannot yet be registered or measured by
any physical instrument, the only instrument available to study
consciousness is the consciousness itself, through self-research
or hetero-research.
Accordingly, the courses and other educational
events offered by the Academy require the active participation of
students and the lucid application of discernment and self-awareness.
The pedagogical methodology does not, however, involve any attempts
at undue influence, persuasion, hypnosis or the fostering of psychophysiological
dependence.
The cornerstone philosophy underpinning the
IAC's approach to its educational activities is:
Don’t
believe in anything
you hear or read at IAC.
Have your own experience.
The primary aim of all IAC courses and workshops
is to equip students with theoretical and practical information
necessary for them to understand their multidimensional nature and
their innate capacity to master their natural psychic abilities.
Particular emphasis is placed on willfully
provoked, lucid out-of-body experiences, recognized as a tool that
can enhance our understanding of the diverse array of psychic phenomena
and of fundamental aspects of physical and non-physical life.
The substantial body of knowledge offered
in IAC educational programs is derived from established research
and consensual data, as well as many years of accumulated experience
teaching these subjects. The programs enable participants to develop
psychic and out-of-body experiences without fear, guilt or repression,
recognising them as natural human attributes.
Students are encouraged to foster self-awareness,
self-control, personal growth, and maturation. Students’ personal
resources employed during courses are rationality, motivation, willpower
and applied, systematic effort guided by the experience and knowledge
of instructors.
The extensive knowledge presented in IAC’s
courses provide a context that is far richer than conventional philosophical
thinking, forming the groundwork on which students are able to base
an expanded understanding of their life and of their own perceptions
and manifestations. This, in turn, gives them the skills and knowledge
necessary for achieving greater psychological, bioenergetic and
mental health, which promote a greater sense of balance, wellbeing
and maturity.
IAC’s teaching method is based on the
sequence represented below, which illustrates the natural process
of development in the attainment of multidimensional self-awareness
and self-control:
Acquisition of knowledge

Mastery of bioenergies (chi)
Achievement of energetic unblocking
and balance

Increase in paraperceptions
(psychic abilities)

Realization of conscious out-of-body
experiences
Expansion of consciential (spiritual)
maturity

Attainment of increased self-awareness (self-knowledge)
